Low progesterone?

Does anyone here have low progesterone and spotting between their period? My obgyn told me to take birth control but that’s against my purpose. Help! Anyone had any luck getting around this issue? Any natural medicine?

Some doctors will suggest you to take birth control when struggling with that issue because it’s been shown to help regulate cycles to help you conceive once being taken off of it. It’s usually a temporary thing, like 3 or so months.  
It may be worth trying if you have been having troubles. You could always speak to another OBGYN to get a second opinion/see if there are other options too that you’d prefer trying first.

I used natural progesterone cream. I had multiple miscarriages and the doc wanted me to have 4 before they’d help. I took matters into my own hands. I conceived and kept and gave birth in December. I don’t know whether the cream was a placebo but I think it helped x
