I ignore the numbers and only focus on the actual test, this is a negative test as th test line is lighter than the control.  The "surge" means that they predict you will hit your peak very soon!  Do another test in a few hours and tomorrow just in case and BD today and tomorrow.

If this were an analog test. I would say that it was still negative but so close. Like I would go ahead and have sex just in case. It should be positive within hours.
