Is it safe to get a massage?

So I will find out if I got pregnant this cycle around May 20th. But am having a girls spa weekend already booked for June 6th. I would be like 6 weeks pregnant IF i get pregnant this cycle, is it safe to get a massage at 6 weeks?

I have learned through months of TTC that you can’t stop life on the hopes you’re going to be pregnant. I wouldn’t cancel your appointment right now. You might not get pregnant this cycle and if you do, by that point you will have gone to the doctor for your HCG levels and be able to ask them in person what they recommend. Then depending on the spa you can most likely get either a refund or a credit for later in your pregnancy

Call the spa and insure that whoever you are booked with is trained in prenatal massage. And then double check on the day of the massage. 
Bottom line, during the massage if you are ever uncomfortable say something or you won’t enjoy the massage you will just be nervous

Yes you don’t even need a prenatal massage, the baby is smaller than a gummy bear. Some women don’t even know they’re pregnant at 6 weeks. I got massages my entire pregnancy and they were life savers! As I got bigger though I did switch to prenatal

If you are pregnant, do NOT get a massage. Any legit licensed massage therapist will not give you a pregnancy massage until you're in your second trimester.

They won't do a prenatal massage that early, more than likely. All of the ones I've checked into you have to be past the first trimester. I don't know about a regular message at that early stage though.
