Yesterday, my drunk BIL told me they were 9 weeks pregnant. Because he shared with me, I told him I was also pregnant and 5 weeks along. Instead of showing any kind of happiness he instead went on a rant which he told me multiple times about how I shouldn’t tell anyone because almost everyone has a miscarriage their first time pregnant. They had a miscarriage in January. So I understand his concern. And I know there is a high chance of miscarriage in the first trimester and I shouldn’t get too excited. But he rained on my pregnancy parade so much that I feel I shouldn’t be excited at all now. Not everyone has a miscarriage before they have a lasting pregnancy, right?!!
