2nd time C-section incision choice

So at my 12 week appt 2 weeks ago, the midwife mentioned to me that the two docs in their office do their incisions differently. One of them reopens the previous incision, the other makes a new incision and “takes the old one up” in the new one. I’m wondering what are the pros and cons of each bc I have to decide which doc I prefer to schedule my C-section with. Anyone ever heard of this or been given an option for your second C-section? If so, please help lol. When I asked more about it, she said it just depends on my preference 🤷‍♀️ LOL I know the main incision is on the uterus, but I’m just talking about the external incision on the skin. Thanks for any advice!
