Do/did you still drink coffee while breastfeeding?

Babe is two weeks old and I’m trying to resist coffee but since I’m up all night it’s so hard.

Cup of coffee every morning.  Just recommended to stay under 300mg of caffeine a day

I drink coffee. I usually try to only drink 1 cup a day but I occasionally have 2-3. As long as my usual is a cup a day I don't worry about the days I need more as long as 2-3 doesn't become a habit. I need the caffeine with two under two lol.

Heck yes! I’ve been living on 3-4 hours of sleep for about 5 months now. I NEED coffee in the morning. 1-2 cups daily

Every time I even have a sip of my husbands coffee my bub gets reflux for the day and is unsettled that night

I kept to my usual that I did while pregnant. 1 cup a day. Under 200 mg of caffeine. It did not go well for Athena. I had to switch to decaf. She was so irritable, uncomfortable and jittery. It took a few days but once I switched she did a ton better. It took me a lot longer to be ok with only decaf but it was worth it. Every one and every baby is different.
