I need advice, kind of long

So my 4 year old is currently the only child is a bit spoiled..I'm not even sure if that's relevant but she has crazy ways of communicating..I'm home with her majority of the time because my husband works and I'm in school. I do majority of the things she needs done for her. I work at a hospital but I'm flexi so I make my own schedule. Well lastnight I worked overnight and when I left my daughter was in bed and sleep. When I got off this morning my husband took her to school because I wanted to come home andgo to bed and I usually take her so I thought that was sweet. When he dropped her off he called me upset and said "is Tatum mean to you when you drop her off" and I asked what did he mean by "mean" he said that when she got out the car they were holding hands walking to the door and she said bye bye daddy, she sat in the chair to get her temp taken and the lady that does them told her to give dad a hug goodbye, my husband said he put his arms out and Tatum started screaming and crying bloody Mary saying she didn't want to give daddy a hug..he said that he was so embarrassed and didn't know what to say, so when he picked her up she ran to the car and was happy to see him and gave him a hug. The director asked him who dropped her off this morning and that they were wondering why Tatum did not want to give dad a hug. My biggest concern now is that these people think that we're hurting our baby. She is extremely loved and she shows us everyday that she loves her parents. She loves to hang out with her dad and they do alot of activities together, like cook and wash the cars and stuff and she like to ride her bike with him. Same with me. Idk what she get that behavior from but my biggest fear is them thinking that we are hurting her..when she came home today I asked her why she did that and she covered her ears..I told her that wasn't a nice thing to do. And she just looked at me. Idk what to do. Has anybody experienced this? Apparently this is not her first time doing this. It's like when they say okay, say bye to dad or mom she shys away but moments before she's all over us and so sweet. I don't get it.
