So, my baby has...
a crib, a bassinet (for travel), 3m sleepers + undershirts (a lot), towels, wash cloths, swaddles, a few thick blankets, body wash+lotion, bibs, & bottles.
My mom is buying me a swing & my MIL is buying a crib mattress & a dresser. I don’t plan on stocking up on pampers & wipes yet, but perhaps a box of different brands to see what works best. What else am I missing?

I agree smaller clothes, even if its just a few. Crib sheets and at least 1 water proof mattress cover! I learned that the hard way 🤣. I saw a thing online where they put a mattress cover, sheet, mattress cover, sheet so they only had to pull on 1 set if they had to I  the middle of the night instead of changing the whole bed.

Spit up rags
Car seat and maybe a car seat cover to protect baby from sun, wind, or rain.

Smaller clothes (unless I read your post wrong). My baby didn't fit into 3 months clothes until she was over 3 months, I'd get a few newborn and 0-3 to fill in the gaps

Baby meds like Tylenol, gripe water, etc and a baby thermometer! Triple paste/diaper cream, and pacis if you plan to use them!

I would get some baby Tylenol to keep on hand and a nose Frida. A boppy lounger is a good idea so that you can sit the baby next to you if you’re just hanging out. You should also have some baby nail trimmers. You would be surprised at how sharp their little nails are.
