I'd love to hear testimonies!! (How u came to Christ)

Hearing ppl's testimonies of how they came to christ has always been one of my favorite things! Testimonies are one of the most powerful tools God's given us to bring others to him! I'd love to hear ur guys's! Here's mine..I got addicted to pain pills at 14, by 18 I was fully addicted to heroin & had lost every good thing in my life (Friends, family, car, job, apartment, etc) I couch hopped for years then was homeless. The only reason I had money to support my addiction was dealing drugs. I didn't know God, wasn't raised in any religion. I was in & out of jails & rehabs, nothing helped. I finally got a felony possession charge at a time when I was very suicidal & went to jail. I snuck a syringe in to jail with me, planning to inject air hoping it would kill me. I planned to go thru with it when the withdrawls hit. A girl in there told me to read psalms 91. I didn't even know if god was real, but I opened a bible for the FIRST time in my life & read it. Afterwards I felt what felt like my heart breaking & I balled! Out of desperation I found myself surrendering to god & begging him for help even tho I had no clue if he was real. I said "god if u are real, plz help me thru the withdrawls, I can't go thru it again, I'll end my life before i do.. I want u to take the wheel in my life & be my god" Afterall, I saw no reason to live anymore..I had nothing & no one. I waited & waited for the withdrawls to hit but they NEVER did! And sense that's not physically possible u can imagine how that changed me! I was truely happy for what felt like the first time! I was so dedicated to god after that that i went to a 12 month christian rehab in another state after my release to learn more about god. It was equivalent to 2 yrs in bible college, but I also formed a personal relationship with christ & was baptized. I got to travel & share my testimony in front of hundreds of ppl for a whole year & watch many ppl come to christ. I've now been sober from heroin 5 yrs, married a wonderful christian man, have a 2 yr old son & a daughter on the way! GOD SAVES!! Even when we're still swimming in sin!
