Changing nursing times/Supply

M

My LO is 7 months old, has been exclusively breast fed other than occasionally when he visits his grandma while I run errands he will have bottled breast milk there. He takes a bottle just fine when it's offered, he does have juice and a little water with meals during the day with a bottle. I'm trying to get him to sleep in his crib vs in my bed. I never meant to have him in my bed at all, but through exclusively nursing and being exhausted and falling asleep while nursing, now he only wants to sleep in my bed. I want to break this habit before #3 gets here in December.

I've been thinking about switching him to bottled breast milk for night feedings instead of nursing because he wakes up (just awake enough to eat) about every 30 mins through the night 🙃 he refuses his paci now and will scream if it's even offered during the night. But during the night he doesn't really eat, he just wants to be latched. I've tried several pacis, all of which he used to take just fine until a month ago when he decided he didn't want them anymore. Anyways, the only thing making me hesitate about the night bottles is I don't want it to dry me up during the day too. I'm pregnant with #3 and my nipples are very sensitive right now so I really want to avoid the pump if possible, but has anyone stopped nursing at night and still maintained their supply during the day? I feel like my body would adjust but I'm scared to mess up this breastfeeding journey. I just don't know what else to do and nobody is getting any quality sleep anymore.
