Progesterone levels after ovulation

So me and hubby have been trying for baby #2 for 9 months now. Our first only took 2 months so this has been very hard on me. My ob had me do a progesterone test on day 21, it came back at 2.61 which she then told me is low and I probably didn’t ovulate. I told her I did in fact get a positive ovulation on day 16 and had very moderate cramping for almost 3 days. Which is pretty normal for me so I thought that was what my ovulation was. So she had me go back Friday, day 23 for another progesterone test and my levels came back 7.56. She has not called me yet since it’s now the weekend. What does it mean when your results almost triple? Is that normal? Or a sign of pregnancy?
