It’s normal for me. I get period like cramps for weeks before I go into labor

I didn’t really experience period like cramps with my first until just before going into labor. I thought it was normal cramping until it became more persistent, then it was obvious they were early labor contractions.

I will be 38 weeks tomorrow, I’m a first time mom but I’m getting cramps like period too. Pretty sure it’s normal and could be part of a contraction/ Braxton Hicks
