Those who do doordash & etc, when it’s time to file taxes, do they charge a lot for taxes?

So I’m estimating about $2000 I’ve made over time, I’m scared on how much they will tax me when it’s time to file next year due to this being my second income for extra cash
So those with experience of this, how much do they tax? And did they take a lot of money from you when it was time fo file? I’m located in Southern California idk if that helps

Did you keep record of your mileage, gas, car maintenance, and anything else you used for door dash? It’s extremely important. Anything you use for work can be written off. This being the taxable amount down.

I forget how much I paid in taxes for shipt. I believe it is taxed after $600 bucks. However you can deduct things such as mileage so keep records of that. You can also deduct part of your phone plan however I believe the rules are stricter on that. If you purchase insulated bags and have receipts you can deduct those. So it pays to keep records of expenses too. 
Fact is these companies make profit and make a giant profit off of not having employees but hiring indep contractors. So know this while you are working and know how much you need to save for tax time.
