Induction
Well my adorable baby boy, Ezekiel was born last night at 11:16pm☺️ got induced at 37+3 due to gestational diabetes and my blood pressure starting to rise towards the end. I was hoping for a vaginal delivery, but after about 33 hours of labor, still couldn’t get passed 5cm, and baby’s heart rate was starting to drop with every contraction. Sooo ended up needing a c section instead, which made me pretty nervous. But it went much quicker than I expected. Doctor had baby out and me sewn up all in about 20 min. Baby did have a hard time breathing for 30 minutes, so that was pretty scary. But he got taken care of quick and once I heard him cry I felt relieved☺️ I had so many unneeded fears going into labor, including getting the epidural, which actually didn’t hurt one bit, and I don’t have any back pain afterwards either. Although I was not expecting to feel every thing that happened with the surgery… (just less painful of course with the epidural) so that was very intense and the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever felt in my life😬 I’m just glad I had an amazing and quick doctor and everything ended up being okay.
