In laws 🥴

My son's daycare unexpectedly closed today and my sister in law watched Jaxson today for me while I worked. My mother in law was nice enough to come pick him up for me and take him to her house (she lives 40 mins away and I work at 7:30am 😣) but when I put the carseat in her car she made a comment "Wow his feet touch the back is that normal?" And I'm like yep that's how it should be.

Well tonight she called my husband and started going on and on about how my son cried the entire way to my sister in law's and it's because he's "uncomfortable" in his carseat, when do we plan on forward facing?? I told her when he hits the maximums of the carseat and at minimum not before two. She's like "He's not a normal sized toddler. He's huge! His feet shouldn't be scrunched up like that".

So tonight I took it upon myself to send her a nice little info graphic about why it's totally fine for him to rear face and it's NOT uncomfortable for him. She hasn't responded 🤭🤷‍♀️ She also loves to give me shit for him still having a pacifier and made sure to tell me that he didn't need his paci ALL day long. Well yeah...he only uses it at bedtime. 🙄 I just love when people who haven't parented a toddler in 30 years try to tell you how to do it.
