Am I in labor???

At 1am on Monday I woke up to the feeling of a gush of fluid. I stood up and it was enough to soak through my underwear. It is totally clear and has no scent whatsoever. Happened again at 3am and 5am when I stood up. Went through 3 pairs of underwear so far. I think it’s amniotic fluid.

24 hours later, so 1am on Tuesday, I began having painful back contractions all night long. They were anywhere between 2-10 minutes apart. Come mid-morning they tapered off. My mom and husband wanted me to call my OB to make sure it wasn’t a problem that my fluid was still leaking every few hours. Went in to be checked, my OB seemed skeptical when I told her it was amniotic fluid trickling out. She said I was probably wrong because I didn’t come in “with a soaked towel between my legs”...

She took a fluid sample and ran a test on it which turns blue if it’s positive for amniotic fluid. We both watched the strip turn blue. She told me she STILL doesn’t believe it’s amniotic fluid because it wasn’t gushing out onto the floor....

Last night the contractions picked up and happened again all night long, this time even more painful than the night before.

Now it’s mid afternoon and the contractions are pretty much totally gone again.

Im disgusted with my OB and I just wish I knew what was going on with my body.

Had anyone had anything like this happen??
