Any other July babies doing this?

Sara

So a few times my daughter has came up to me and and says your Sara ( my actual name). She has also called her dad by his real name once and has said she wants to go to Jesse's (dad) moms (her grandma) we don't say our real name when taking about another to her and so the only way she heard us being called by our actual names if I say dads name when talking to him and vice versa. Same for grandparents. Just seeing if anyone's toddler is doing this too?

Oh yes for a while now! I always respond with "who's that?" And then he either repeats my name or says "mommy!" If he repeats my name I just ask again who's that? Lol. He says both me and my husband's name, and we both just respond this way, it seems to work well to correct it. He also calls us "babe" sometimes, because that's what we call each other 😂

Yes! He knows our names but prefers to call us momma and daddy unless he is calling for us from another room haha! I think it’s adorable.

Yep my son does, but I take it as a positive. If he ever needed help, he knows our real name, but I remind him that he calls us mommy and daddy.
