Possible endometriosis

Meg

I was just wondering if anyone else has had similar symptoms to me or if I’m the only person who is suffering. For nearly a year at least now I’ve been suffering with heavy withdrawal bleeds (I’m on the contraceptive pill) with very painful cramps that leave me in agony, pain when having sex just at the entrance it kind of feels like sand paper (my boyfriend and I have tried everything at this point and nothing helps to ease the pain), pain in my lower back at random times, bloating and looking around 3 months pregnant when you’re not (I’ve taken 5 tests to be sure I’m not pregnant) feeling full more quickly, having pains in the general area of where cramps would be and general tiredness. I’ve been to the doctor about it and was seen by a female doctor she has now referred me to a gynaecologist who is going to do an internal ultrasound. I had seen male doctors before for my tiredness and that’s been on going for over a year and when I bought up the bloatedness to a nurse she told me it was the “Covid stone”. I just want to hear from other people so I don’t feel so alone. I’d also like to mention that I’m only 20 years old so am very much stressing about whether or not I can have my own biological children which with endometriosis might not be a possibility. I’ve had to make myself think I can’t just so if the doctor says actually you can’t have children it won’t be such a shock to me. I just want to know if there’s others out there like me or if I’m on my own. I’d also like any advice from anyone at this point to target the pains and painful sex because it’s putting me off of any sexual activity with my boyfriend
