I applied for this position on May 13th asking for an interview after applying. He responded on May 15 saying

“Thanks for reaching out. I’m just starting to go through applicants but will be reaching out to people in the coming week. I’ll be in touch!”

But I haven’t heard anything from him since. Should I email again asking for an update? If so, what do I say?

My application still says “we are currently reviewing all applications” still. So I don’t believe the position has been filled yet.
