Conceiving with a BAD cold?

I was so ready to do everything possible to conceive this month..but then came down with a nasty chest cold that I have had for 4 weeks now. We still BD a lot..but I've been on a multitude of meds and violently coughing nonstop. Think this will hinder our chances of conceiving??

Idk the chances but my friend got pregnant when she was sick on birth controll and taking antibiotics

Depends on the meds... Something with guafenisen could actually help. But an antihistamine or something that dries you out is likely to make it more difficult ... Basically whatever your meds are doing to your nasal mucus its having the same effect on your cervical mucus. So something that makes it thinner and more stretchy is helpful, but something that dries it up will hurt your chances.
