When to pillows and blankets in crib?

So my daughter is a year old and just seems so uncomfortable in her crib and I don’t blame her it’s just a regular old crib mattress and I feel bad. So I’m asking is this an okay age for a small blanket and small stuffed animal or pillow? I don’t want any judgement I came her for advice on this…

My child has had a pillow in her bed for a very long time; however, I put it in between the mattress and the fitted sheet. That way she couldn’t get under it. I also gave her a light weight breathable blanket at about a year. No judgment. Comfy babies sleep better, makes total sense to me why would want to be safe and comfortable.

Here the recommendation is a baby sized duvet from birth. But no pillow before 12+ months old.

We added a small lovie just after a year but still no pillow and used a wearable blanket. 
At 22 months when we transitioned from a crib to a twin that’s when we added blankets and pillows. 
Now at almost 3 there is an ARMY of stuffed animals in the bed.

My daughter doesn't have a pillow but she's had a lovey or 2 or 3 in her crib since we'll before 1. She also has a blanket I leave hanging on the side for her to take if she wants it. She still uses a sleep sack though because that blanket doesn't stay on top of her.

My 18 month old just started using a large stuffed cat pillow as a pillow and she loves it. I watch her on camera and she needs to be on it at all times, I can see she finds it more comfortable than just the crib.

I’m still using a wearable blanket like a sleep sack for my 13 mo old mainly because he won’t keep a normal blanket on so I worry he’ll get cold. But I have friends with babies the same age and they use blankets now!

We started around 18 months. We used a thin pillow and blanket. She’s 3 now and since about 2-2.5 she’s been using a character head shaped pillow (Daniel tiger) and whatever blanket she wants. Along with whatever stuffed animals end up with her.

Our daughter was sleeping wonderfully so we didn’t add anything until 18 months when we started needing AC more and she started fighting out of the wearable blankets. We started with just a blanket at nap time and once that was a routine she was used to, we added the pillow.
