First pregnancy, need advice!

This is our first pregnancy and I was looking to see if anyone had any suggestions on how to get my husband more involved?

Since I’m the one carrying the baby, I know he probably doesn’t experience pregnancy the same way I do/will. Of course he is thrilled about the pregnancy because we tried for quite awhile and he is adamant about being at every single appt/ultrasound, but what are some other ways to get him more involved/“in the know” with things/what to expect throughout the journey?

I try to explain things to him as they come up, but he’s honestly very clueless when it comes to pregnancy/babies. I’d like for him to be more informed and be able to know exactly what’s going on each month as the baby grows, etc to keep him excited and to make him feel like we are both equally “carrying” this baby through to the end, if that makes sense. I don’t want him to feel like he’s just watching things from the sidelines.

Did you guys buy your husbands books, watch a YouTube series together, go to classes, etc? What seemed to be enjoyed by your husband?
