Trying Again After Miscarriage?

I have an appointment with my gyno this week to ask them, but I'm looking to see how long everyone waited before trying again after miscarriage. I miscarried at 5 weeks with what was supposed to be our rainbow baby, and...we really don't feel we want to wait months to try again.
I've read everything from you don't need to wait to you need to wait 3+ months. It seems to vary by the doctor...
What's everyone been told for trying again after miscarriage?

My doctor and the OB ER doctor both said we could try again right away. We had decided to wait but I ended up pregnant two weeks after we miscarried. 19 weeks now with our rainbow baby.

My doctor told me we could try again right away, but waiting a cycle can be helpful for dating purposes. So we waited one cycle and I got pregnant the next one. I’m so sorry for your losses! Good luck!

Agree with everyone else. I was told after my first cycle that it was okay to try again

My doctor said I could try again straight away :) i was told there was no reason to wait, other than waiting 1 cycle would make dating a lot easier. Currently cycle 2 trying for my rainbow x
