Hospital bag necessities?!

Trying to put together a bag ahead of time... curious to see what other mommas packed!

Comfy clothes, a robe, socks or slippers, a long phone charger, snacks, chapstick, Advil, comfy slip on shoes, postpartum care; my lifesaver was depends and the Frida peri bottle, there’s a whole kit that’s pretty handy. Disposable undies are also handy once the flow slows a little.

We were there like 24 ish hours i wore a nightgown and socks the whole time! And i had sweats to go home in. My husband wore his sweats the whole time as well. We had our chargers as well. Baby i brought two newborn outfits and 2 0-3 month ones since my sisters son went right into 0-3 n didnt fit newborn. Other then that you really dont need much. Im not much of a hair brusher but bring if u are. Toothbrush which i forgot but honestly didnt even have the energy. I had pads to go home with but they can give u and in my hospital they only give u one diaper so my husband ran out to buy a box so bring some if u need to n wipes. Especially with covid they try to get u in and out

I had so much stuff packed and hardly used anything.  Bring a long phone charger (or two, for you and your partner).  I liked having my pillow and blanket from home.  I bought a labor and delivery dress and wore that the whole time.   Clothes to wear home and clothes for the baby to wear home.  Oh, my toothbrush, hair brush, and deodorant. That was nice to have!Pretty much everything else I brought was not even touched.

My hospital provides almost everything so clothes for me/husband/baby, my glasses, hair brush, cell charger, and the chocolate covered almonds my husband wants there. Pretty much it.

Your own pillow. The hospital pillows are horrible. I also took a blanket. The smell from home was comforting🤷‍♀️
