I gave a rough date of when my period started but it doesn’t add up with my 12 week dating scan is this a normal thing or ?

Babies can measure off sometimes
I know when I ovulated and my guy was measuring a few days behind at one scan and then 6 ahead at the next 
It varies way too much

Do you know your cycle lengths? Doctors base the due date on a 28 day cycle. If you have a longer or shorter than average cycle then the dates will be adjusted. My date was adjusted by 4 days at my dating scan as I have 32 day cycles and the little one was measuring 4 days earlier.

By 12 weeks, you can start getting a few days off.  My 6 week scan measured up exactly but my 18w scan put me a week ahead this time.
Last time, my 14w scan put me a week ahead and I knew *exactly* when I ovulated and only had sex once that cycle.

How many days out is your dating scan? I calculated my date as the 9th of September going by my period and positive opk test. My dating scan told me the 6th.
Ended up having him on the 15th 😂
