Are you ladies having a baby shower ?? Why or why not? My husband and I are still debating on it since his mother is kind of picky. My husband is all about his family and if we choose to have a baby shower at his moms not everyone will show up that he wants to show up but if we choose to have one at our house everyone will show except his mom 😞😞 what do you ladies think!??

We are not this is baby #4 for me and baby #2 in less than 2 years so we are pretty well set. I am doing a capsule wardrobe for our new little guy I need to get him just a few things  and I’m going to order some newborn cloth diapers in the next few weeks and a bassinet and that’s really it

Were having a shower by mail. So sending out invites with registry so our friends/family can mail a gift versus getting all together.

I had an outdoor baby shower and tables were 6ft distanced per household. Everyone stayed safe! 
Personally, if I were you, I would have the baby shower how YOU want. Not the mother. It’s your baby and your special day. If she cares enough, she’ll come. If she doesn’t come, then you can have a separate day to go over her house and her give you whatever she wants then. 
I’ve missed out on too many special moments because I was too worried about pleasing everyone else.

We are having a shower at our house. We're throwing it ourselves. His aunts offered but neither of their homes are big enough. We figure if people come they come. If not then oh well. My mother in law will not be invited as she hates me and I don't want the drama. But all of his other family is invited as well as my family. We had thought about doing it after the baby is here but with covid and other illnesses popping up around that time we decided a shower before was better.

I’d say don’t let it stress you. Do what you want to do. It’s your shower, your baby, not theirs. Anyone who wants to support you will. There shouldn’t be conditions on supporting family. My best friend threw my shower. No masks, no distancing. We had about 25 people. Everyone is fine and still alive. Some people were too scared to come, but oh well. Was their loss 🤷🏻‍♀️

Well I get along with my mother in law it’s not that it’s the fact that she doesn’t get along with the rest of her family and some how my husband does so she wouldn’t come if everyone else came

We JUST told my parents on Friday that we are expecting. I’m 29w today. We have yet to tell anyone else, including my in laws. I’m being Uber careful about coronavirus (whether people are vaccinated or not) so I doubt we will have a shower. I do need every little thing, though, as our firstborn will be 13yo before the baby is born and we don’t own any baby items.

Just doing a small one with family. But I have given my registry link to friends and coworkers that have asked and just explained the shower is small. Everyone’s been super understanding.
