Is there a way to remove a disc without making a mess?

I really like the discs better than the cup because the insertion is so much easier, but now removal is a mess! Is there a trick to this?

Answer

I use gloves to remove mine and wrap the disc in gloves to discard! If you’re out it is harder but works at home or if you pack a period bag
