Has anyone got sent home from induction because wouldn’t dilate?

I am 37 weeks and 4 days today! Yesterday I had my OB doctor appt and baby had very low fluid to the point they send me to the hospital to be induced. Well I got a medication that went in and past my cervix to help me dilated and only got to 1cm open. I was contracting so much last night and today nothin. They sent me home today because they did another ultrasound and his fluids went back up. So he has fluid now. I was so ready for him to come out today. They didn’t wanna torcher me for another 3-4 days to try to get my cervix to open and they wanna try to avoid csection
