I had preeclampsia with my first. It was so bad I had to have a cardiologist present during labor. With my 2nd the doctor was shocked as I had low blood pressure. The doctors within the practice all had said it was very rare to go from high in one pregnancy to low blood pressure in the next. But then, with my next 3 pregnancies, I didn’t have any problems with my blood pressure.

PE is more common with first pregnancies compared to subsequent ones. Many women who get it with their first will never get it with any future pregnancies. Even if you had it for your first 2 or 3 pregnancies, it's not a guarantee that you'll have to deal with it again for a future child.

I had it with my first, and with my second I just had high blood pressure, but not preeclampsia. I still had to be induced early.

Not me but my MIL had it with her first and not with her last three

I had it with my first, not my second, and then post partum preeclampsia with my third.  I’m taking baby aspirin this time to prevent it with my fourth

Ironically I had it with my first 3 and didn't have it with my last 2. All same father. They say it has genetic factors.
