Are the hospitals still testing for covid when you go in for csection/labor and delivery??

In my state all masks are gone and there aren’t hardly any cases anymore.

At my hospital they’d till are testing any patient that’s admitted including L&D/postpartum 
Even though covid case numbers are declining, it’s a safety measure for staff and patients and helps control the spread among patients and healthcare workers!

I have a scheduled c section 7/26 and they scheduled a COVID test for me on 7/23....hope that helps

Honestly i think it depends where u are. In canada rhey are. Especially if you know ur going for a csection they will because the surgical floor is so overly sanitized they cant risk covid getting onto it and severly infecting open bodies!

Mine didn’t. Our Daughter is 2 weeks today. They literally didn’t even mention covid throughout our stay in the hospital other than a few screening questions when we first checked in.

Mask mandate for us is gone for outside and individual businesses have their own choice. I was still tested for covid when i had my daughter 2 weeks ago. My support people were not tested
