Just wanted to share this info. I took a First Signal test yesterday and today. That's the $0.88 at Walmart. Both days I have gotten a negative, but with a shadow that is so faint I thought it was the dreaded evap. So both days I followed up with a frer, yesterday was vvfl and it was darker today. My point:  some say the cheapos are as good as a frer, but I don't think so.
