So scared
I went to the drs about 6 weeks ago as I had tingling down both my arms and a patch on my upper back, I was petrified it was MS - dr advised this was due to a trapped nerve (I did have a stiff neck and it hurt to turn left and right a few days before the tingling). They checked my bloods for vitamin b13 deficiency but it came back fine- I took naproxen for 4 weeks and symptoms lessened for the most part, I was still scared it was MS though. However I had the odd bit of numbness on parts of my face and also in my feet. I haven’t taken tablets for almost two weeks but I have more symptoms now. I will list symptoms below, they are all on and off throughout the day but some may not come back for a few days
Patches of numbness on my face, lips, upper back, lower legs, arms (rarely), hands and feet.
Pins and needles in hands during the night.
tingles that feel like raindrops that last not even a second on any part of my body.
Hands and feet feel tight/swollen
Arms and legs ache as if I have done exercise (I haven’t)
I had called the doctor a couple of weeks ago and he said it’s trapped nerve again and to maybe see a chiropractor. I have been chiropractor twice and the tingling in my arms has completely gone. But no help for other symptoms.
Called dr again this morning as face numbness has been there since yesterday evening- I am absolutely terrified that this could be MS. :(
I spend every single day worrying it is MS… I don’t think 5 mins pass where I’m not worrying about jt. I spend most mornings crying and googling- I wonder if any of it could also be health anxiety, I’m not sure 😭
