Gift Help!

My niece doesn't play with toys. She'll be 2 in July.

She carries stuff around but doesn't really pretend play or build with blocks or anything like that yet. To contrast, our 2yo son is all about pretend play and building train tracks and building blocks and doing puzzles, so Im struggling to figure out a birthday gift for her.

Her family lives in an apartment and she has an older brother too, so I can't get anything that really takes up space. What ideas do other moms have? Help!
