Leaking diapers at night

My daughter is 7 weeks and uses Huggies Special Delivery diapers for day and night. They usually work great, but lately I’ve been noticing a wet spot on her back right above the diaper line when I change her for her first feeding at 6am after sleeping for 7 hours, so I think she’s leaking out the back. We just moved her into size 1 diapers, but do you think I need to go up a size at night? The Velcro latches overlap when I secure them around her waist, so they’re plenty big on her in general. Should I switch diaper brands? Or maybe put an insert at night? Any suggestions. Thanks!

We really only liked these when our son was just little. Once he got to crawling we switched to the pampers cruisers. Only ones we found didn’t leak on him.

Try the snug and dry, we used those for our son overnight and never had leaking issues. Once he started the diaper blow outs though we went to little snugglers until he could fit into the overnights.

Generally a leaky daiper means that it's either too big or too small, so in your case, the size 1s are probably slightly big still!
When this happened to my daughter, I just waited it out and within a week, it was no longer leaking.
Else, a size 1 in one brand may be slightly larger/smaller than a size 1 of another brand, so that might help too!
