Husband hates my gifts
I'm not the best gift giver on the planet but I always try to give thoughtful gifts vs materialistic ones. My husband always hates all the gifts I give him and just constantly complains about it for weeks afterwards. But everything he "wants" is so expensive.
He loves playing golf so for his bday I gave him a GC to play at a really nice course that's his friends say he's talked about. He can take lessons, go to the driving range, eat at the clubhouse too if he wants. I thought he would love it, but instead, the first words out of his mouth were "I don't want this. Can you get your money back?". It's been 3 weeks and he still bitches about how it's a terrible gift. I'm so heartbroken and offended that he couldn't even just say thank you and stfu. For Father's Day I got him cheesy gag gifts (socks with LOs face on it, dad jokes book) and a new glass blender bottle and a new wooden watch box and I feel like he's just going to whine about it. It really hurts my feelings.
Should I just stop giving him gifts all together?
