I give them a bit of a treat here and there. Specifically chicken, my dogs LOVE the cartilage from chicken, and a bit of leftover white meat. I also give them a bit of fish here and there, and then I mix an egg into their food once a week or once every two weeks. 
In their nightly food I do also give them vegetables (green beans, broccoli, cauliflower, pumpkin, carrots or butterbut squash (not all at once)) and my one dog loves apples. Two of them love banana chips. 
The cats are picky. They love chicken as well though but that's pretty much it. They don't even really like fish.

Cat no, she’s picky and only will eat 1 brand of cat food in a specific flavor, and she’ll nibble on plants if she can get to them. But my dog gets scraps. I don’t think it’s a big deal, it’s not like I’m feeding her poptarts. Meat, eggs, veggies and fruit. Stuff they’re supposed to be eating in their dog food anyways.

Only a few healthy things and only in moderation (don’t want his poops to get weird). Generally we just bite him off a little piece when we’re eating these things. You do have to be careful with the fruits though to make sure your pup isn’t getting too much sugar. We don’t give him more than one snack a day. Healthy human foods safe for dogs include:
Carrots
Bananas 
Apples
Blueberries 
Green beans
