23w5d short cervix. Above experience this?

I went to the doctor yesterday and was told my cervix is short. Anyone experience this? My doctor prescribed progesterone and Motrin. He wants to check again in a week.

Yup...that’s why I’m on bed rest! Had my emergency cerclage at 19 weeks, 22 weeks now. Try not to do too much lifting or much around the house if you can avoid it. What are you measuring at?

It’s not necessarily going to end in preterm labor, doctors like to be extra careful! My last pregnancy I found out I had a short cervix at 20 weeks (2.1 cm-2.3 cm varied each time) and they put me on pelvic rest and progesterone. I carried my daughter to a day shy of 39 weeks! I’m now pregnant again and have measured “normal” at 3.8 cm and been cleared of preterm risks. Just take it easy as much as you can, praying things go smoothly for you!

with my first, i was diagnosed with short cervix at 21 weeks was put on progestrojenafter i saw the high risk at 24 but i ended up having him at 27 weeks. due to PROM. 
they wont cerclage yoy either because baby is so close to viability. You will most likely be on pelvic rest, bed rest and the suppositories!
