Hello fellow teacher-mamas!

I’m due with baby #2 in December and am already starting the conversations with my principal about appropriate pump times. (I teach MS science, btw). The hope is that he can switch schedules around so that I have a midday prep vs end of the day to eliminate the need for coverage for classes to pump and am being met with some… resistance… I’m trying really hard to be proactive and am frustrated that I feel like I’m being shot down and that this is going to turn into a fight that I’ll need to bring my union in on.

Any advice from Momma’s who have already been there? I didn’t have this with my first as I was subbing, then covid hit.
