Help clomid question my DR is not communicating

Ok ladies I have a question for you. I was put on my first round of clomid this month. I ovulate every month and track for peak. My gyn put me on it because I had a chemical 1 chemical pregnancy at the beginning of may and a partial molar in January. When he did the ultrasound my uterus looked good but he said he could not see a follicle but there was free fluid, he is not the best at explaining things and said we either missed ovulation or I did not ovulate. I had tenderness and cramping to the right side the night prior to the ultrasound that stopped the morning of and had the attached LH test. Has anyone not ovulated when you have ovulated every month in the past or had a similar experience with clomid?
