Where does your 2 month old sleep.

Question

Feeling a little guilty about our sleeping situation. We have been co sleeping since we came home from the hospital. He had a cold and when he was flat in the bassinet he would chock on his post nasal drip so we put him in the bed in between us and propped him up with a towel under his dock a tot. Now he’s 2 months old still in the bed with us but I feel better about him being so close. Please no judgement on positive advice.

My boy has his naps in his cot in his bedroom.
He sleeps in the bassinet right next to my bed at night from 9pm-5am and then when my husband gets up and goes to work at 5, baby ends up in bed next to me until 9am.
I was always worried about cosleeping but that’s when we honestly get our best sleep. I feel better about it because Red nose (sids group) brought out information on how to safely co-sleep since let’s be honest most mums would do it at some point.
We gotta do what we gotta do.

Same situation. Our first night home all the way till he was about 6 weeks my son slept in his bassinet beside my bed. But after that all he wants to do is sleep next to me in our bed. I would put him in his bassinet but he would sleep for like 5 minutes and Then wake up. So i just let him sleep in our bed. He’s had better sleep and breast feeding is soo much easier. Do what ever feels right to you mama. Co sleeping looks frowned upon by people but it’s your child, your decision. I support you 100%

My son sleeps in his pack and play by my bed. I can hear him if he coughs or needs me. 
Co-sleeping isn’t recommended because of the risk of SIDS. I know you know that, you do what’s good for your family but be careful. I had a conversation with a homicide detective at work once (we had a death at the jail where I work as a nurse) and she told me she responded to the death of a 9 month old earlier that day. Apparently the girl was sleeping with her mom in bed, got her face stuck under a pillow, and died. 
Shit like that scares me. My firstborn son slept with only a sleep sack until he was over a year old. That mother had no intention of her child dying but went against a recommendation that is there for a reason and has a dead kid. I can’t even fathom…

Do the c-curl while sleeping. 😊 now it is recommended if baby is formula fed to sleep in own space, though on this group on Facebook I'm about to reccomend, I've seen people say they formula feed and cosleep ❤

In our bed or in the bassinet right next to the bed on my side. The side of the bassinet like folds down and connects right to the bed so she has her own space but still super close. She’s been doing good in her bassinet but if she has a bad night I’ll pull her into bed next to me

Our little one sleeps in a bassinet next to our bed. When he is congested I put a folded receiving blanket under the bassinet mattress to elevate him a bit and turn on a cool mist humidifier.

In her snoo bassinet I co slept with my first aand he’s still in bed with us 5 years later 🤦🏻‍♀️ he’s a crazy sleeper so I can not have her on the bed with us so a bassinet for now and then transition her to her crib when the time comes. Def not co-sleeping again.

My boy sleeps in his crib.. but he’s comfortable there and doesn’t like sleeping with us.. if your baby is happy and you make sure that your baby is safe and you and your partner don’t roll over him or cause him any harm during your sleep then co-sleeping is not a problem. I have seen a lot of parents co-sleeping with their babies and they are just fine.
