So my bf has 2 daughters and i dont have any kids with him. Ive been with him for almost 7 years but never really got him anything. This year I want to get him something with this daughters names engraved. Is that too wierd?

If hes involved with the kids then no i personally dont think its weird at all. Especially after 7 years together

I don’t find this weird at all. 
I find the people that would think this is weird, abit weird! 
If they’re important people in his life (which I’m assuming they are) then what a thoughtful thing to do. My partner has children which aren’t mine and I’ll always get him something meaningful with their names on because they’re his life!

Do you know the girls well? Maybe go shopping with them. 
My husband is not the father of my daughter and he gets me lots of presents “from her”. I know she was barely involved.
