So me and my man were having a discussion about sex after a break up, Me and him have been together for over two years and he said that if we broke up for whatever reason and I was to sleep with another man within days or a week after breaking up that it would make me a whore/slut, what's your thoughts on that?  Do you agree or disagree and why?

If you aren't together anymore, you can do whatever you want. The monogamy contract would be terminated & it's your body, your decision. I wonder if he'd think the same if it were him sleeping with someone else that quick.
Like nobody can tell you how to feel after a break up. The relationship may well have been dead a long time before.

He says that but he’d probably do it in a heartbeat if you broke up, which is why he’s lowkey shaming you and making sure you won’t do it.
I will say that assuming a relationship was very serious, I think it shows immaturity to sleep with someone right after it ends. Like, give it some grieving time. If it helps to hop into bed with someone else, it helps, but I think it causes more drama than it’s worth and only helps in the short term, when you could really take the break up as an opportunity to focus on bigger things for your life. If it was a dumpster fire relationship and dude was a narcissist, I say fuck whoever and show him how sexy you are kind-of-thing, because fuck greedy, controlling narcissistic assholes. But otherwise I think it’s not good for people (at least, people like me) emotionally.
Or, do both: fuck somebody but make the bigger goals for your life your focus.

I slept with my now fiancé a week after my abusing ex and I broke up so I guess I’m a slut lol it worked out for me though. When my ex and I broke up he told me I wasn’t “allowed” to sleep with anyone for atleast 6 months 😂
