Best acne treatment?

I’ve been using neutrogena face wash with benzoyl peroxide for years along with a salicylic toner. I’m reading mixed reviews online so I’m confused. Any input? What did you use for acne during pregnancy? Just found out I’m pregnant today so I’m on a google spree.

I had bad cystic acne thanks to PCOS. Cerave foaming acne wash with their foaming facial cleaner and retinol serum worked wonderful. I wash my face 2x a day and used the serum at night. Good luck!

I use the Belli brand (got from Amazon) I use the cleanser and spot treatment. They have worked wonders for me both pregnancies. I like that they’re natural, and pregnancy safe but still help my acne.

Retinol is the only big no no in pregnancy. 
Everything is a toss up. We know oral BHAs are harmful in pregnancy but we don’t have a lot of evidence for topical application. AHAs and benzoyl peroxide have more research indicating that topical applications are probably safe. 
My OB only specifically counsels against retinols.

I use the fresh soy face cleanser, clinque toner, tea tree oil, and CeraVe moisturizer. I don't use salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide while pregnant.
