High risk doctor for baby mesuring behind?

I'm told everything looks great but baby is mesuring one week behind.
But my midwife transfered me to high risk doctor to take over the pregnancy even though they say everything is fine.
They first noticed at my anatomy then at my follow up. Now 25 weeks and baby is mesuring one week behind..
Why am I high risk?

That seems like a pretty extreme measure for your midwife to take. Babies position has a lot to do with fundal height and ultrasounds are notoriously inaccurate for determining the size of baby. Also, most care providers have a 3+ weeks buffer for cause of concern over baby size when measuring fundal height. If I were you, I'd seriously consider finding a new midwife if you're hoping to have a natural birth.

If there is concern over baby’s growth they will send you to a high risk specialist. It’s just to make sure baby is doing well and getting the nutrients and oxygen it needs.
