advice pls

so i grew up in a strict household. i'm almost 23 and my bf is 25. we havent seen each other for how many months (3 months) and im gonna go back to my city next month. he asked if i could stay over and told him that i will try.

ive told him that i know eventually my parents will let me, its just difficult on my end. he told me we are grown ups and we should be allowed to do whatever we want to do esp that we have our jobs, we graduated college and everything.

any advice? :( hes always disappointed at me because i get scared to ask permission
