FLAGYL AND EARLY PREGNANCY RISKS

Hi everyone! So I went to the Er with spotting and was diagnosed with BV. I was prescribed Flagyl 500mg 2x a day for 7 days. However I’m reading this is not supposed to be taken in the first trimester due to miscarriage risk and I’m 6+2 today. Has anyone taken this in the first trimester and had it be ok??? Please please let me know. I DID call the pharmacist who said it’s fine to take because BV can cause miscarriage in the first trimester as well so the benefits outweigh the risks but I’ve had 4 back to back miscarriages and I’m terrified.
