Breastfed

So originally I planned on just breastfeeding my baby. But in the hospital he was having a time latching and they offered to insert a little formula in the nipple shield to help him. They did that about 3 times during our stay.

Well, last night he hardly slept and kept my husband and myself up. I offered the breast but he seemed more frustrated and was pulling away. We also have been giving him a paci to try to make him sleep. I think he has been having an upset tummy because he hasn’t had a bowel movement and I constantly hear his tummy.

This morning we were drained and could only think to give him a little formula to see if that would help amd it did, he fell right asleep.

Today I don’t want to give any more formula. And also will contact pediatrician to make sure this is okay.

Anyone else do this with their baby? I had him Sunday and my milk still has not come in yet. I hope it comes in soon .
