Has anyone done the love date 40 day Challenge?

I want to know if it has worked and saved your relationship or marriage?

Ive know people that have done it and it worked! I don’t know why it wouldn’t work as long as your heart is in the right place and you put effort into it. My mom and dad use it even when there are no issues just to keep the love and romance going. It’s very sweet. Fireproof is the movie that goes along with the book and it is really great too if you haven’t seen it.

Yes, I didn’t follow all the way through though. The reason being is because as I worked through it, I found out how to respect my husband again (I actually think I did the “respect dare.” That’s the one in which women to do the dare for their man, and the love dare is where the man does the dare for their woman.)
I rewired my brain to respect my husband because at the time I was being incredibly selfish and naive. I was young and emotional and going through a depression. I will say that I personally think it changed my marriage, because it changed me as a person. I would recommend either to anyone going through marriage struggles.

i’m not religious so there is some parts of it that i don’t 100% agree on but i think that there is a lot of valuable info that can give people a better understanding of what a marriage is and what you should put into it, i also feel somethings should be added to it so i think using it as a tool rather than a guide to find what works best in your partnership and making sure both your needs are met is the best option because every couple is going to need different things. if it works for you than great! if not don’t give up and think your relationship is doomed, just re-evaluate and adapt.
