So I’m due soon with my June 2020’s little brother and I really want to make breastfeeding work. Whether it’s exclusively breastfeeding or exclusively pumping or both. Mainly because I’ll be getting the COVID-19 vaccine and I’d like to pass on those antibodies.

Should I bring my pump to the hospital and start pumping right away? I was only ever able to pump 8 ounces total with my first but I didn’t start until I was home from the hospital. My production was low so we had to supplement with formula and truly, I didn’t try very hard because of how discouraging it all was and other factors I was facing at that time. I really want to make it work this time and I’d really appreciate any advice.
