I just had my first baby, he is 11 days old. Due to latch issues I have been pumping and bottle feeding. The issue we’ve been having now is that he seems to be eating too much? He will keep eating and keep asking for more until he’s literally got milk dripping from his mouth while he’s still sucking for more. We do pacefeeding, and stop several times during each bottle to burp him, but it still happens. He ends up spitting up a bunch of milk after each feeding and will still root around for more food! Is this normal? Is it possible for a baby to be eating too much? I was told that he will stop eating when he’s full, but it seems like he keeps going and going. He’s been eating 2-3 oz every 2-3 hours.
